Working together to support families and see relationships flourish

Mother's Union is a Christian mission charity which supports families throughout the world. Through programmes, campaigning, community outreach and prayer Mothers' Union promotes stable marriage and family life.

Our group at Hellingly Church is very active covering our families and those coming to christenings and weddings in prayer and positive support. We run the childrens corner for the Sunday services, manage the Friday office for booking weddings and baptisms and run the Loving for Life course each year for our wedding couples. On the first Sunday of Advent we hold a party for all those baptised during the year.  And much more - do come and join us. Our youngest members is 19 and our eldest over 90.

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month in Hellingly Church at 7pm and for a shared communion service at 9.30am on the 4th Thursday of each month. Please check the calendar for what's on and we look forward to welcoming you.

Loving Lord, We thank you for your love so freely given to us all. We pray for families around the world. Bless the work of the Mothers' Union, as we seek to share your love through the encouragement, strengthening and support of marriage and family life. Empowered by your spirit, may we be united in prayer and worship and in love and service reach out as your hands across the world. In Jesus name, Amen.
