Food Bank

When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?

Just as earlier religious communities provided for the needs of the people it served, we are dedicated to maintaining an awareness of the needs in our Parishes -  covering these by positive action and prayer. 

One of the ways we do this is by supporting Hailsham Food Bank which provides emergency food for local people in crisis. Gifts of food from our church members are presented at the altar each Sunday and prayers offered for those in need.
