The Life of Christ.

“Possibly the greatest open air drama you will ever see.”

The drama starts before Christ’s birth when the angel visits Mary and ends at the resurrection with all the main story lines in between. The story is told with powerful acting and there are real sheep, horses a donkey and possibly camels. The sound amplification is brilliant so no problems in hearing in the open air. The production goes ahead come rain or shine!

The setting is on a beautiful estate at Wintershall near Guildford. The audience take their own picnic chairs and move around for different scenes of the play. The scenes take place in an open field, by a small stream and then around a lake. All the cast except Jesus are local people. Jesus is played by a professional actor who has taken this part for several years.

This is a day event beginning at 10.00am through till 3.30pm. The play runs for five days from Tuesday 19th June to Saturday 23rd June. The entry cost per ticket is £20 adult, £18 senior, £9.50 children aged 3 - 18, £50 for a family of two adults and two children.

If sufficient people are interested we could organise a coach at an additional cost, however if you prefer your own transport that’s fine too.

If we are to organize a group outing we will need to know numbers well in advance.

When Peter and Jacky Clark went to see this for the first time they were totally bowled over by it. They really can’t impress upon us just how amazing this production is. Even if you don’t have a faith or are just on the fringe it’s an incredible piece of drama which only comes round once a year.

If you have any questions please contact Peter and Jacky Clark on 01323 841809.
